What is Poland Police Certificate (KRK) ?

The Poland police certificate is also know as Zapytanie o udzielenie informacji o osobie or KRK. It is for people who want to emigrate, travel, need a visa to live and/or work abroad, or are looking to obtain citizenship or residency in another country.

How to apply?

If you live in Poland, you can apply at the National Penal Register of the Ministry of Justice, Krajowy Rejestr Karny ul (see Contact Information for complete address), or at one of the information offices of the National Penal Register located in courts throughout the country.

If you live outside of Poland, You can apply electronically or by mail. You can also get someone to apply for a certificate for you.

The following documents are required:

  1. A copy of your valid ID or passport;
  2. Application form.
  3. Power of Attoney, if authorize someone to apply on behalf of you.
